  teaching aims:

  difficulties:

  teach sb. sth...,look up,  stop to do sth./stop doing sth.

  teaching m ethods: task-based approach

  teaching aids: multi-media, movies, computer.

  teaching procedures:

  step 1. warming-up

  greet the students and begin the class.

  step 2. lead-in

  watch a movie abo ut ii yang. tell the studen ts that craz y english is a good way.

  step 3. presentation

  introduce the g irl, teresa to the class.

  let th e students know her difficulties.

  step 4. reading

  1. find out  the good ways to learn english according to teresa’s story.

  2. answer game: answer the questions according to the text.

  3. teach and practice: teach sb. sth., look up, stop to do sth./stop doing sth.

  4. a match: try to say more good ways about learning english.

  step 5: read and speak (talk show)

  read a passage about jay and try to make a dialogue about  anything they like.

  step 6: cooperation work (a debate)

  topic: is it easy to learn english or not?

  step 7: home task (keep trying)
