教学过程
step 1 greeting
t: class begins.
s: stand up!
t: good morning boys and girls.
ss: good morning miss zhang.
t: sit down please.
step 2 free talk 
1、t: what’s your name?
s: i’m …/ my name is …
2、t: how are you?
s: i’m fine thank you. / i’m ok. / i’m happy. / i’m angry.
3、t: what is the weather today?
s: it’s sunny / rainy / cloudy / foggy.
4、t: how old are you?
s: i’m seven. / eight.   
step 3 presentation 
1、show a picture to the students.(farm)
t: where is it?
(教师引导) yes, it’s a farm.
today we will study unit 6 on a farm.
2、show a picture to students.(animals)
what can you see?
there are many animals.
which one do you like?
3、listen to the tape and guess what is it.
woof dog
read the word
put the pictures on the blackboard.
who likes dogs? hands up!
同法: pig, cow, guck, cat 
a)look at the picture say the words.
b)open your books turn to page 26.
 what’s helen says?
what’s miss li says?
read the sentences.
explain the meaning of the sentences.    
step 4 practice 1. show the words to the students.
let some students put the words under the pictures
read the words one by one.
2. use the sentences:
teacher asks, students answer.

3. say a rhyme:
a. listen to the tape
ask the students how many animals can you hear.
让学生学动物的叫声,设计连线练习.
cow   duck   pig   dog   cat
onik  moo  woof  miaow  quack
listen to the tape say the rhyme.
4. 戴头饰表演
  i’m a cow, moo, moo.
  i’m a cat, miaow, miaow.
  i’m a dog, woof, woof.
  i’m a duck, quack, quack.
  i’m a pig, onik, onik.
step 5 homework  read the text and the words.
